Bed Bugs
Bed bugs bite and feed on blood. They are called bed bugs because they prefer to live in warm areas, including beds and sleeping areas. They can feed at any time of day, seem to prefer night feedings, and usually feed without disturbing their host.
Their bites result in rashes and can cause allergic reactions. Thought to have been nearly eradicated in the United States in the 1940’s, they reappeared and incidents of infestation have been spreading since 1995.
